King Abdullah Center for Oncology and Liver Diseases

The King Abdullah Center for Oncology and Liver Diseases is a concrete building with structural glass elevation totaling 83,750 m² and consisting of 23 floors (21+2 basement levels).

The Tower includes kitchen/dinning, logistics, housekeeping, radiation therapy, radiation oncology on the basement floors, reception, pharmacy, phlebotomy and apheresis and a discharge lounge on Level 1, surgery, endoscopy suite, PACU, Pre & Post at Level 2, an infusion center at Level 3, Radiology imaging at Level 5, medical oncology, surgical oncology, various clinic at level 7, ICU and nursing units at Levels 9 to 11, mechanical floors at Levels 4, 12 & 12M, BMT and hematology wards at Level 18 & 19, nursing units at Levels 13 to 19.

The project includes a connecting bridge between the new KACOLD Tower and the existing North Tower at Levels 2 & 3. The adjacent 19,210 m² underground parking garage will accommodate 450 cars which already been completed.  

The building was opened on April 2017 as the largest specialized center of its kind in the region with capacity of 300 inpatient beds plus infusion centre with 96 beds that are equipped with smart technology.
