The mortality and morbidity section oversees the reporting and review of all mortality and morbidity cases that occur within the hospital.
What are we doing? The mortality and morbidity section is responsible for identifying practice and system failure as well as the probability of clinical mismanagement, error and lack of communication and providing the ultimate measure of quality of care and safety for our patients.
Why KFSHRC needs the mortality and morbidity section? The mortality and morbidity section reviews the care each patient receives to ensure it meets the acceptable standards and to ensure that KFSHRC staff maintain professional accountability for their practice.
