We are patients advocates and strive to ensure that patient care is delivered in a professional and courteous manner, respecting the dignity and rights of patients and staff. The patient relations department manages the patient relations programs which is designed to assist staff and patients by providing a structured approach in resolving patient complaints, forwarding suggestions and routing complements.
What are we doing? The patient relations department is guided by “patient first” principle and serves as patient advocates; it acts as a central resource for information concerning service issues, patients’ rights and responsibilities.
We continuously conduct and measure patient’s satisfaction about their hospital experience; the results of these surveys are shared with medical, non-medical departments and higher management.
Why KFSHRC needs the Patient Relations Department? The patient relations department ensures that patient/family concerns and grievances related to their hospital experience are addressed and resolved in timely manner at the point of service by partnering with other healthcare providers.
