Summary

Serves as the lead person on the development of E-Services programs for KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) to provide unique and valued ways for patients, staff, and eventually suppliers and Applicants to interact with KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.) using on-line solutions.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

1.Stays current on trends in Hospital E-Services globally, including applications in use, vendors, and issues

2.Supports identifying E-Services to be deployed at KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.).

3.Creates the roadmap for development of E-Services at Healthcare Information Technology Affairs (HITA).

4.Participates in a leading role in projects to develop and deploy E-Services at KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.).

5.Participates in opportunities (publications, conferences, and social media) to publicize KFSH&RC (Gen. Org.)’s use of E-Services.

6.Becomes an advocate for the role of E-Services in patient experience.

7.Develops enterprise standards for effective HIT – enabled patient engagement.

8.Manages the change to E-Service and Implement effective media campaigns.

9.Develops self-assessment tools to ensure compliance with internal and external agencies and Measure and report progress of all activities to internal and external entities.

10.Participates in self and other’s education, training and development, as applicable.

11.Follows all established Hospital policies and procedures.

12.Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Education

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Informatics or related discipline is required.

Experience Required

Five (5) years of related experience with Master’s Degree, or seven (7) years of similar qualifications with Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Other Requirements(Certificates)

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred.

- Background in Nursing or Healthcare related discipline is preferred.
