Emergency Medicine

The Emergency Medicine Fellowship Training Program is designed to train postgraduate physicians who are working in various Emergency departments, desiring to improve their knowledge, procedural skills, cognitive and administrative abilities necessary as future leaders in Emergency Medicine. This program also aims to train physicians who have previously attended either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program, as the unique experience of medical practice at this tertiary care facility is second to none.

Candidates will get an opportunity to work in a busy, high tech, state-of-the-art facility with an annual volume of over 61,000 patients in Emergency Medicine. The trainees will benefit from supervised hands-on patient care during clinical work and weekly grand rounds and didactic sessions. They will also rotate through various critical care specialties and learn the use of modern tools in emergency medicine like ultrasound. Successful candidates will conduct research projects and become self-directed, life-long learners.
