Postgraduate Medical Education

The fellowship is offered for a period of one year. The fellow works closely with the consultants, providing an ample opportunity for teaching. Fellows conduct clinics under consultant supervision and assist or perform surgical cases according to their level of experience. They also take after-hours on-call, manage emergency referrals and take part in the teaching of the residents. Fellows develop confidence in scientific discussions of cases. They learn all aspects of surgical procedures and the cutting edges of technology regarding orthopedic instruments.
