Body Imaging

This one-year fellowship program provides the trainee with experience in all facets of adult abdominal and pelvic imaging, such as ultrasound (including contrast-enhanced examinations), fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI. CT and MR angiography is regularly performed in addition to state-of-the-art studies such as CT colonography as well as MRI examinations, utilizing tissue-specific contrast agents. 3D reformatting and postprocessing are heavily emphasized.

Fellows will also receive training in imaging-guided biopsies and drainages. Weekly clinical-radiological meetings are held with various clinical disciplines such as urology, gastroenterology, general and hepatobiliary surgery, as well as oncology. The active residency program also provides a strong academic environment of learning and teaching where the fellow will participate dynamically.
