Neuroradiology

A two-year fellowship program providing the fellow with dedicated training in all aspects of neurological imaging studies. Multi-detector CT imaging of the brain, head, neck, and spine is performed in addition to CT angiographic and perfusion studies. 3D postprocessing techniques are heavily emphasized. MRI and MRA studies are extensively performed, and the recent addition of a 3T scanner provides the opportunity to institute state-of-the-art functional, diffusion and spectroscopic imaging. Stereotactic brain biopsies are frequently conducted.

The fellow will also receive training in diagnostic neurointerventional procedures and will observe and assist in various therapeutic procedures. Supervision of the residents is part of the fellow’s responsibilities.
