Scholarship & Training Program

 

The scholarship program at KFSH&RC (Gen.Org.) enables qualified employees to pursue their career or gain practical experience in their profession for the purpose of meeting Hospital requirements.  It is the program’s primary goal to uplift the Hospital’s educational and healthcare standards by continually developing a pool of employees with advanced and superior skills.  Based on a five-year plan, scholarship training for the medical and other healthcare staff, including technical and administrative staff is successfully implemented.

Goals and Objectives

The Scholarship Program at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (Gen. Org.) enables qualified employees to pursue their studies and obtain a degree, or gain practical experience in their fields, for the purpose of serving the General Organization's needs.

The Primary objective of the Scholarship Program is to enrich the overall educational and healthcare standards of the Hospital by developing a pool of employees with advanced and updated skills.

KFSH&RC (Gen.Org.) is dedicated to upholding its leading status in the academic and training field and promoting excellence in training, education and career development in a multi- disciplinary setting. The development and implementation of education and training programs in medical, scientific, technical, nursing, allied health, and administrative fields are its primary goals and support the ideals of the Kingdom-wide Saudization program.

 

Scholarship Requirements:

  • A recommendation letter (memo) from the department supporting the request of scholarship
  • The chosen program has to be within the department (5) five years Scholarship Plan.
  • Acceptance letter from university recognized by the Ministry of Education.
  • CV
  • An overall “above average’’ performance evaluation.
  • A proof of English language IELTS total of 5.5 or TOEFL.
  • Career Path Form

 

The Scholarship Application shall include:

  • A detailed report of the candidate's performance evaluation.
  • The candidate's suitability for the requested scholarship.
  • A target position (for Non-health care providers and health professionals)
  • A recommendation based on the department's requirements.
  • The department stated career path for the employee.
  • The chosen program has to be within the (5) five years hospital scholarship plan.
  • The program is related to current job function.
