Medical Terminology Course Level 4

Course Description:
Medical Terminology is an in-house course designed for non-medical/paramedical employees of KFSH&RC in order to define and build vocabulary of common medical terms utilized in the hospital surroundings.
Medical terminology consists of up to eight (8) courses that increase in difficulty as a student progresses and becomes more Knowledgeable of the subject. The courses are specialized in a wide array of subjects such as Cancer and Cardiovascular terminology. The first three (4) courses introduce basic terminology, while the remainder present more in depth terminology for different body systems.


  1. List the levels of body organization from the cellular level to the whole organism
  2. Name the body systems & their functions
  3. Identify the body cavities & specific organs found within them
  4. Define & correctly use directional terms of the body
