Sehaty FAQ


  1. What is “Sehaty”?

Sehaty is a secure online website that gives you convenient 24-hour access to personal health information from anywhere with an Internet connection. You can:

  • Review test results, including labs, radiology, procedures, and pathology
  • Reschedule or cancel appointments
  • View current medical conditions
  • Review appointments information
  • Review immunizations

And much more. Only you, can access your “Sehaty” account unless you grant access to someone else. You will also have access to your dependents’ accounts if they are less than 18 years of age.

  1. Can I access “Sehaty” using my smart phone?

Yes. You can download "Sehaty" App by searching “SEHATY” on Apple Store or Google Play  to access your medical record.

  1. Do I need any special computer equipment to use Sehaty?

No. All you need is access to a computer or smart phone, an email account, and an Internet connection.

  1. How do I sign up for Sehaty?

You may sign up by 2 ways:

  1. Online registration:
  • Go to 
  • Click on “New User
  • Enter your medical record number, National ID / Iqama Number, & Mobile Number.
  • You will receive a verification code on your mobile phone number.
  • Enter the verification code to complete the registration.
  • The account will be activated and you can set your password for Sehaty.

      b.  Hospital registration desk

    • The registration officer will complete your  information in the e-services system
    • You will receive a verification code on your mobile phone. Give this verification code to the hospital registration officer to complete the registration.
    • Your account will be activated and you may set your Sehaty password.
  1. Can I activate Sehaty for a loved one?

Yes you can. Sehaty gives access to parents, caregivers or legal guardians of minor children (age 18 years and younger) access to their child's medical records. With the Sehaty service you will have the same convenient, 24-hour online access to medical information and health management services for your dependent loved ones as you enjoy with your own Sehaty account.

  1. Does every King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre patient automatically have Sehaty?

Yes, but you need to register to Sehaty first in order to benefit from its features.

  1. Is there a monthly charge for Sehaty?

There is no charge. Services are offered complimentary to King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center patients.

  1. Why don't all of my medical conditions show up in Sehaty?

Your Health Summary contains the record of health issues and diagnoses for which you are actively being treated at KFSHRC. This section will not include short-term diagnoses you are treated for, such as a common cold. If you have questions or concerns regarding the health issues listed, please discuss this at your next visit with your provider.

  1. Sehaty Maintenance recommendations don't seem right to me, what do I need to do?

Health Maintenance procedures are suggested based on your age and gender and in some cases a specific diagnosis you may have. You are encouraged to discuss this information with your provider during your next visit. Your provider can update health maintenance recommendations that may not apply to your specific situation.

If you see that you are overdue for a regularly scheduled health maintenance item please request an appointment directly from your providers

  1. Who sees my appointment details?

These requests are routed to appointment schedulers. Your doctor will not see this information.

  1. Why don't all of my medications show up in my Sehaty record?

The Medication List in Sehaty will show Ordered, Active and Inactive medications. Prescriptions written by non- King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center providers will not appear on your medication list unless they are ordered by your King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre.

  1. How may I view a family member's health record in Sehaty?

You will need to get the authorization of Family members who wish to grant you access or of whom you are the caregiver other than your children.

  1. How do I see my laboratory test results?

From the home page click on the “Laboratory Test” box, select the “Date” option. Click on the test result you wish to review. The Test Details page for that test will open. Some test will be provided with a graph. You may also print your labs

  1. I see some of the results, but not all of them. Why?

Most test results are automatically released into Sehaty with the exception of certain sensitive confidential tests. If you do not see a certain lab result, please note that some medical laboratory tests take a longer time to be processed as per lab standards. Please check with your clinician regarding time frame for test results.

  1. Can I see radiology images through Sehaty?

The text portion of your radiology imaging report can be viewed by clicking on the Radiology Button in Sehaty. The actual radiology images are not transmitted through Sehaty at this time.

    17. How do I get the complete set of my medical records?

There are 2 ways to obtain copy of medical records:

  • Going to each tab within Sehaty, such as Labs, Medications and immunizations and print. For further records or for any confidential or sensitive records, please contact your clinician’s office or medical records department directly.
  • By contacting medical records department at the hospital and signing a medical records release form.

    18. How can I update my telephone number in Sehaty?

Click on the "Personal Profile" menu and select the "phone number” link. Make your corrections and click "check mark".

    19. How can I update my address in Sehaty?

Click on the "Personal Profile" menu and select the "Address” link. Make your corrections and click "check mark".

    20. I don't have an email address, how do I get one?

There are many web-based services that offer free email accounts. Check with your internet carrier for more information.

    21. How can I update my email address in Sehaty?

Click on the "Personal Profile" menu and select the "email” link. Make your corrections and click "check mark".
