Pharmaceutical Care Division in Jeddah, in cooperation with the Academic Affairs and Training Affairs, is pleased to invite you to attend and participate in the Medication Therapy Management Conference under the title “Integrating Medication Therapy Management into Pharmacy Practice”, which will be held at the Hilton Hotel Jeddah on 2 - 4 Safar 1440 H (11 -13 October 2018) with the participation of international and local speakers. A variety of workshops as well as posters for projects related to the objectives of the conference.

For the first time in the Kingdom, a specialized training course will be organized for the preparation of the Certificate of “Delivering Medication Therapy Management Services” training program by the American Pharmacists Association “APhA”.

 

Objectives:

  1. To determine the common medical conditions: endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, oncology and more
  2. Discuss the appropriate monitoring parameters, evidence based treatment, and associated drug therapy problems
  3. Demonstrate effective patient counseling and skills to improve patient’s adherence
  4. Identify the role of the pharmacist in Medication Therapy Management & Transition of Care; including Antimicrobial optimization; Pharmacokinetic dosing; Anticoagulation Management
