 The Medical and Clinical Affairs, Academic and Training Affairs and the Research Centre cordially invite you to attend the 12th KFSH&RC Annual Residents’ Research Day which will be held on Thursday, 7th of March 2019. This activity is intended to enable residents, fellows and research students at KFSH&RC share with each other their scientific research projects and present their work in a friendly competitive atmosphere. Valuable awards will be granted to the best research projects in different categories at the end of the activity. The organizing committee is working hard to produce a strong scientific program of the highest caliber.

Goal:

To promote research activities among medical trainees.

Objective:

To present research activities performed by medical trainees.

One day of Oral and Poster Research Presentation that will be presented from different participants (residents, fellows, pharmacists, and clinical research students) from various medical departments, Pharmacy, and the Research Centre Department.

Call for abstracts:

The organizing committee of the 12th KFSH&RC Annual Residents’ Research Day encouraged everyone to participate in the "Abstracts Competition". Abstracts will only be considered if a resident/ fellow/research student has participated significantly in its preparation. Each abstract must be accompanied by a letter from the senior author outlining the participant’s exact role in the project. The project has to be ORIGINAL and has NOT BEEN PUBLISHED PREVIOUSLY. Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that the project has been approved by Office of the Research Affairs (ORA) prior to submission. ORA-approved projects will be looked at favorably during the selection of abstracts by the committee and at the time of selecting the winners during the event.

We are interested in all topics related to patient’s health care including clinical and experimental research. Submissions will be accepted as original paper for 7-minute podium presentation.
