Overview:
In September every year millions of Physical Therapist around the globe celebrate the World Physical Therapy Day. A New theme is proposed annually by the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT). This year’s theme is the effect of Physical Activity on “Chronic Pain”. This campaign will aim to increase the awareness of general public as well as professionals of the importance of the Physical activity to improve chronic pain and general well being.
The campaign will include the latest evidence and information regarding Chronic Pain, individual’s experiences and stories, importance of exercises in preventing and managing this common problem. In addition to practical demonstration of exercises with our Physical Therapist on site, fun games and challenges with prizes for the winners.
The event is slated to take place on 15 to 17 September 2019 at the new EMS tunnel and will be composed of activities booths and education to the visitors.
