It is the only center for heart transplantation in the Gulf region and accredited by the Joint Commission International, the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, Cardiovascular Excellence, and European Laboratory Accreditation through the European Society of Cardiology and the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging.

The Heart Centre has experienced doctors who specialize in by-pass surgery, invasive and noninvasive surgery, and interventional cardiology, and deal with cardiac issues of newborns and toddlers. We cater to patients suffering from hypertension, heart failure, and cardiomyopathy.

Annually we admit over 2500 inpatients in various cardiovascular conditions and perform thousands of surgeries, specialized procedures and diagnostic tests for our patients which are not done anywhere else in the Kingdom.
