Children’s Neurology Conference to be Held at the "King Faisal Specialist Hospital" on Tuesday

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh is organizing Children’s Neurology Conference on Tuesday 1st of March 2016 in association with the Saudi Pediatric Neurology Society. The conference will be held for three days in the Post Graduate auditorium at the hospital with 20 local and international participating speakers.  

Dr. Al-Muhaiza said “The conference will have five international speakers from the USA, Canada and France in addition to 15 local speakers who will discuss the latest scientific findings in children’s neuro medicine, such as diagnosis and treatment of complex epilepsy cases and their surgery developments.” He also mentioned that the sessions will discuss ways to deal with muscle diseases, the prevention of metabolic genetic diseases that affect the brain and nerves in addition to discussions on inflammation of nerves, leukoencephalopathy, brain strokes, autism among other related issues.

Dr. Al-Muhaiza pointed that the first day of the conference will be allocated for holding workshops that include brain electroencephalogram for epilepsy cases, and another workshop on the role of radiation in the diagnosis of neuro diseases.
