KFSH&RC and SCBAHI Sign Agreement for Cooperation for Exchanging Expertise and Improving Health Care and Safety of Patients in the Kingdom

The General Organization of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH&RC) and the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) have signed an agreement for cooperation in nine areas while focusing on eight areas for exchange of expertise in improving health care and patient safety in the Kingdom.

 

His Excellency Majid bin Ibrahim Al Fayyadh, MD, MMM and Chief Executive Officer of the General Organization of KFSH&RC signed the agreement on behalf of the Hospital. At the same time, Dr. Salim bin Abdullah Al Wahabi signed the agreement on behalf of CBAHI at the Hospital headquarter in Riyadh in the presence of a number of executive leaders of both sides and Hospital Employees.

 

The agreement provides for attracting talents and facilitate the work of evaluators and bilateral cooperation for developing standards of health quality and patient safety issued by CBAHI. This is intended to be applied to all health establishments in the Kingdom.

 

The CBAHI created from the Saudi Health Council, a non-profit organization, is the official national authority responsible to grant accreditation to all public and private health care establishments in the Kingdom.
