Home Health Care aims at providing health care assistance and nursing services for patients in the comfort of their homes. The home health care team offers specialized health care services at the patient's place of residence, as well as help the family in taking extra care of patients.

From 7:00am to 4:30pm Sunday to Wednesday and from 7:00 am to 3:30pm on Thursdays.

Referrals to Home Health Care division:

The Home Health Care services are provided to patients based on the following:

• A request requested from the doctor.
• A representative of the Home Health Care Division will visit the patient in the hospital before he/ she is discharged home to assess the health condition, discuss home health care service with the patient’s family members and schedule the first visit to the patient’s house. The provision of the home health care service will depend on the patient's evaluation results.

Patient’s eligibility criteria for Home Health Care service:

• The patient must be residing within 50 kilometers from the hospital.
• The consulting doctor should continue being responsible for patient's care.
• Round-the-clock medical service and nursing care must be available to patients from the health care team.

A permanent companion must be available with the patient to secure his special and therapeutic needs.

* The patient's family accepts the presence of an escort (a man) with the nurse during the home visit. Or that the nurse is a man in the event that the patient is male.
