Overview
Our team applies a range of cutting-edge technologies such as in-vivo modelling, gene-editing, multi-omics, and organoid technology to investigate male infertility. We aim to improve assisted reproduction treatments and develop molecular diagnostics and therapeutics for male infertility, while also establishing new techniques for the preservation and restoration of male fertility.
A Multi-Omics and Biological Approach to Investigate Male Infertility
Challenges in male fertility, such as spermatogenesis failure, impaired sperm motility and fertilization failure, are linked to specific genes. We are interested in identifying these genes and exploring the molecular mechanism affecting their expressions, with the aid of multi-omics and biological approaches such as knockout mouse models.
We strongly believe that our research will produce fundamental knowledge on the molecular mechanisms causing male infertility and lead us to develop new and effective tools for diagnosis and treatment.
Our Team
Our team is dedicated to addressing research questions related to male infertility.
