Overview
We conduct translational research on cancer, cardiovascular, neurological, infectious, and transplant-related diseases, discovering biomarkers that will usher in the age of precision medicine.
Applying a Multi-Omics Approach Across a Range of Specialties to Advance Biomarker Discovery
Biomarkers are measurable indicators within human samples like blood, biopsies or body fluids. In illness, they provide a biological snapshot of the disease process. By integrating mass spectrometry, flow cytometry and multi-omics, our team works to uncover clinically relevant biomarkers that can be used to diagnose disease, stratify risk, and guide personalised treatment for every patient. Our current projects range from Paediatric kidney conditions to graft-versus-host disease in haematological transplantation.
We believe that by refining biomarkers for routine clinical applications, clinicians will be able to direct targeted therapies, and no longer rely on a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach.
Our Team
Our work is rooted in collaboration, innovation, and a deep commitment to advancing precision medicine.
