Overview

Integrating multi-omics data, artificial intelligence, and network medicine, our mission is to advance precision medicine for improved diagnosis, prognosis, and prevention of diseases, particularly within the Saudi and Arab populations, and beyond.

Multi-Omics Research Representing the Saudi–Arab Population

In collaboration with regional and international partners, we address critical health challenges that disproportionately affect our population. Cancer remains a major research priority, as Arab patients are often diagnosed at a younger age and present with more aggressive disease. Despite this, Arab population data remain significantly underrepresented in global multi-omics research.

Our research seeks to address these issues, while also investigating other complex diseases, such as idiopathic cardiomyopathy and infection-associated lung injury in transplant donors. Through these projects, we aim to define molecular disease signatures, develop robust biomarkers, and improve diagnostics, prognostic, and therapeutic strategies across multiple clinical specialties.
