Overview
Cancer therapies are vastly evolving, and our research in the biology of immune checkpoints and signaling pathways illuminates some of the newest and most promising developments in precision oncology. In our studies, we examine the intrinsic and extrinsic roles of immune checkpoints in cancer cell carcinogenesis.
Enhancing Cancer Care With Immunotherapy
We aim to improve cancer therapy by developing a better combination of immune checkpoint inhibitors with other types of therapy like chemotherapy, targeted therapy or a food supplement. Our goals are to improve patients’ response rate to treatment, and to resolve resistance to therapy. Additionally, we are working to identify biomarkers for patients who would likely benefit from immunotherapy.
Our Team
We are solving problems together to improve cancer care.
