Improving Treatment Strategies for Thyroid Cancer
Papillary thyroid cancer is the second commonest malignancy affecting Saudi women after breast cancer, with up to a quarter of patients suffering from aggressive disease, leading to treatment resistance and poor outcomes. Our team is characterizing the genetic and molecular components that underlie aggressive papillary thyroid cancer with the aim of identifying biomarkers and new therapies.
