Overview
We integrate predictive modelling, advanced data analytics and molecular insights to improve diagnostics, treatment and patient outcomes.
The Clinical Importance of Risk Stratification and Outcome Prediction in Infectious Diseases
Patients who are immunocompromised or have reduced physiological reserve due to chronic conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases are more adversely affected by infectious pathogens. By quantifying and stratifying the risk and outcomes of infections in vulnerable patient populations, we will be able to identify high-risk patients and prioritise them for preventative strategies, inform hospital infection control policies, guide individualized clinical management, and ultimately reduce morbidity and mortality from infectious diseases.
