Endoscopy Unit Services:

The Endoscopy Unit here at King Faisal Hospital is unique in that it provides treatment and supportive care to both ADULT and Pediatric patients alike. The service covers all inpatient, outpatient and 'out of hours' procedures. The nursing staff come from every multinational and varied background and are required to assist with a wide range of G.I, Pulmonary  and Urology procedures. They do so in a very caring and professional manner

 Endoscopy Goals:

·  To consistently strive to give quality nursing care in a timely are culturally appropriate manner.

·  To work enthusiastically as a team, always being willing to help and assist one another.

·  To make on going education a priority, thus ensuring that high levels of skills, knowledge and understanding

   in the areas of gastroenterology, pulmonology and urology are always maintained.

· To actively participate in the on-going quest for performance improvement.

· To communicate with all patients and staff in a polite effective manner, always being sensitive to

   cultural differences and language barriers.
