EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The Symposium aims to provide comprehensive updates in all aspects of solid tumor, hematological malignancies and hematopoietic stem cell transplant, palliative care and oncological nursing in the young and aged.

We hope to be a forum for interaction and exchange of ideas and information between local and regional oncological societies and international societies to advance the science of oncology.

The Symposium will encourage and support presentation of local and regional research to enhance multicentre regional collaboration to tackle the rising burden of cancer in the Arab world.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This educational program is designed for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals interested in the treatment, care, and management of patients with cancer.

INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTRATION

  1. Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.
  2. Payment is accepted in cash and check only.  Please make check payable to: Academic & Training Affairs.
  3. Cancellation/Refund Policy: Request for refund must be received one month prior to symposium. Administrative fee of SR 50 will be deducted from all refunds

INFORMATION ABOUT CMEs

The American Academy of Continuing Medical Education (AACME) and the Saudi Council For Health Specialties (SCHS) will accredit this Symposium.

AACME CREDIT DESIGNATION STATEMENT:

The American Academy of Continuing Medical Education (AACME) is the sponsor of the continuing medical education portion for this symposium. Each physician must claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

SCHS ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE

The SCHS Certificate of Attendance will be available on the final day of the symposium ONLY. Please collect your certificate from the Symposium Registration Desk before you leave. Certificates will not be available after the symposium is over.

AACME CERTIFICATE

To obtain the AACME certificate, the following procedure must be adopted-

The AACME Attended Lectures Form includes a list of the lectures and the number of CME hours granted per lecture. 

The participant is responsible for putting a check mark next to the activities he/she attended.

At the end of the symposium, the completed AACME Certificate Instruction Form with the AACME Attended Lectures Form must be returned to the AACME Desk to claim the AACME certificate.
