On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Riyadh for our "1st International Cardiovascular & Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium"
King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre is one of the leading centers in the Middle East in managing complex congenital heart diseases and cardiovascular and major thoracic diseases including
transplantation. This is our first international symposium in this field and we have tried to structure a multi-faceted program addressing different topics: pediatric cardiac anesthesia, thoracic anesthesia
management, blood conservation and homeostasis in cardiac anesthesia, TEE and transplantation.
We have invited several international speakers from the most prominent centers in the world, trying to ensure the highest possible scientific quality in this meeting.
