Educational Objective:

There are many aspects, such as logistics, cost, design, ethics  and regulatory issues, related to the conduct of clinical trials. It is felt that a concerted effort is needed to take these important issues on to a  professional basis. The goals of this Symposium are to formulate and promote a  code of conduct of Clinical Trials for the purpose of improving clinical outcomes and consequently providing better healthcare in the Kingdom of Saudi  Arabia.

We propose that this Symposium will provide a forum to discuss important problems related to Controlled Clinical Trials. It will give epidemiologists, scientists, and clinicians, from both within and outside the  Kingdom, an opportunity to discuss the crucial issues related to a very important area of clinical research.

The workshop, which is a teaching tool, will be didactic and utilize the regulatory issues related to the conduct of clinical trials.  Emphasis will be placed on methods of preparation, from writing a proposal to  submitting the scientific paper for publication.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged due to limited seating.  If you wish to register, or need further information, please contact:
