Dear Colleagues:
The Departments of Radiology and Academic & Training Affairs welcome you to the "Update in Diagnostic Imaging" Symposium at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh on 24-26 Shaban
1424 (20–22 October 2003). Diagnostic Imaging techniques have progressed to maximize the ability of detecting, diagnosing and managing disease conditions throughout the body. The new techniques and
sequences applied to MRI, the faster CT scanners, the new interventional procedures and stents, and advances in 3D and 4d ultrasonography have been applied clinically; successfully improving the diagnostic and
interventional clinical practice. Co-registration of PET with CT imaging has become an easy procedure making localization of the PET findings accurate and therefore improving significantly its accuracy.
A special session is dedicated to the state-of-the-art imaging modalities in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In this Symposium, presentations on these advances in Diagnostic Imaging are emphasized. We welcome
you to King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Jehad Al Watban Chairman, Department of Radiology King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre
