On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to our symposium "Pharmacy: A Profession in Transition" which will be held at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research
Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 19-20 April 2005/10-11 Rabi Al-Awal 1426.
This symposium has been tailored to meet the ever changing professional needs of pharmacists. As you may realize, pharmacy practice has evolved to pharmaceutical care as newer and more automated technology and
integration of computer systems give pharmacists more free time to provide patient-focused care. This symposium will provide pharmacy practitioners and other health care providers information and
instruction on a variety of topics relevant to cutting-edge automated pharmacy systems, patient safety outcome optimization, evidence-based medication management of various disease states, and the future role of
pharmacy practitioners.
