Introduction:

Healthcare Information Technology Affairs offers a comprehensive training plan for ICT trainees as it is crucial to ensure that they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles. A training plan for HITA trainees.

 

Objectives:

  • Provide an overview of the IT field and its importance in healthcare.
  • Recognize the various components of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking.
  • Understand how to troubleshoot basic issues and maintain the infrastructure.
  • Identify various types of threats, such as malware, phishing, and social engineering, and how to prevent them.
  • Operate Windows, Linux, and MacOS, and identify how to install and configure software applications
  • Design, implement, and maintain databases and identify Oracle to manage data and generate reports.
  • Identify project management principles, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling.
  • Deploy and manage cloud-based solutions.
  • Build applied Artificial Intelligence models and how they are continually monitored and improved to ensure maximum benefit. They will also learn about data science and basic programming as it relates to building algorithms.
  • Develop the soft skills, including communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving. 

 

Duration:

Thirteen (13) weeks

 

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Internship request letter from Intern’s sponsor
  • Saudi national or borne from Saudi mother only
  • GPA 4 out of 5 or 3.25 out of 4 or above.
  • Pass KFSH&RC English Placement Test (Achieving level 6 and above).
  • Pass the interview
