Overview:

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Jeddah, is organizing the1st Annual BMT Conference, which will be held on March 14 - 16, 2019 at the Intercontinental Hotel Jeddah. The conference is accredited for 24 CME hours. It also includes nursing workshops on the 3^rd day with 6 CME hours.

Objectives:

• Learn more about the current state-of-the-art treatment strategies, clinical trials research and outcomes of both autologous and allogeneic BMT to aid in clinical decision making
• Recognize common complications in BMT patient and understand associated prophylactic strategies and management                                    
• Review the latest clinical trials in Hemoglobinopathies and bone marrow failure syndromes                                           
• Prophylaxis, diagnosis, and management infectious-disease-related complications in hematopoietic stem cell transplant                                        
• Review the efficacy and safety outcomes of haploidentical SCT                              
• Offers BMT nurses a forum for education, the exchange of ideas, networking and the dissemination of best practices within the field of blood and marrow transplantation                                  
• Highlight the importance of BMT Registry database and applying extensive, reliable data to promising research                                              
• Review and update about BMT Quality Management.
