Department of Dentistry

The Dental Department at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre-Madinah offers state-of-the-art dental services. We are committed to delivering the best possible oral health care for our patients in a tertiary hospital setting. Our vision is to provide comprehensive oral care utilizing the latest technologies for all dental procedures.

Scope of Services

The dental department serves the following groups:

1. Medically compromised inpatients, outpatients, and Dental clearance patients of KFSH&RC.
2. KFSH&RC Employees and their dependents.
3. Protocol patients.

The department offers the following services

1. General Dentistry
   The General Dentistry service provides a high standard of general dental care, including fillings, and extractions. Endodontic treatment will be provided soon.
2. Dental Hygiene

This service provides scaling, prophylaxis, and Oral Hygiene Instructions.

About The Department:

1. The department consists of a single dental clinic located on the 1st floor of the main building in the outpatient department.
2. Radiology section:

• Periapical x-ray device installed in the clinic.
• X-ray room installed with Cephalometric-Panoramic x-ray device.

We are also looking forward to hosting Internship trainees as well as residency programs along with the expansion of the department by launching other clinics shortly.
