Overview

We combine advanced molecular tools with translational approaches, with an aim to improve reproductive health, develop novel theranostics and create models to better understand and treat various diseases.

Observing early cellular activity and interactions to improve fertility

Human reproduction depends on multiple factors within both the female and male reproductive systems and can be adversely affected by treatments for other medical conditions, such as chemotherapy and immunosuppressive therapies. Our research investigates the potential reproductive toxicity of selected drugs and explores the protective role of exosomes, using advanced animal models and three-dimensional organoid systems. Our findings have the potential to inform safer therapeutic strategies for women requiring systemic or immunosuppressive treatments, while preserving reproductive function and fertility.
