Overview
Associate Scientist specialized in translational cancer research, focused on integrating fundamental cancer biology with clinical applications to improve diagnostics, prognostics, and targeted therapies. My research emphasizes molecular oncology, oncogenic signaling pathways, epigenetic regulation, and tumor microenvironment interactions to understand cancer progression and therapy resistance. Through this work, I have identified and functionally validated key biomarkers and therapeutic targets with strong potential for personalized medicine. I am also engaged in developing novel targeted therapeutic strategies and optimizing advanced preclinical models to evaluate treatment efficacy. My main goal is to translate mechanistic insights into clinically actionable approaches that advance precision oncology and improve outcomes for cancer patients.

Career Background
Associate Scientist and Team Leader of Experimental Therapeutics at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC), Riyadh, with over 15 years of experience in translational cancer research, molecular oncology, and preclinical therapeutics. I joined KFSHRC in 2016 as an Associate Scientist in Human Cancer Genomic Research, where my work focuses on biomarker discovery, oncogenic signaling pathways, and mechanisms of cancer therapy resistance across multiple tumor types. I completed my postdoctoral training in toxicology and cancer biology at the University of Kentucky, USA, following my PhD in Immunology from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. My career has been dedicated to bridging fundamental cancer biology with translational and clinically relevant applications.
