The Annals of Saudi Medicine under the Scientific Publications Office (Academic and Training Affairs) at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre is going to hold its Second Scientific Writing Workshop: Be a Better Author 2016.

The workshop will cover a great range of in-depth topics in Research Development and Design, Research and Scientific Writing Ethics, Writing a Manuscript I/II, Submission Strategy and Guide for Authors, Technical Checklist Process, Peer-review Process, etc (please find the attached program). In addition, the workshop will educate attendees on different submission systems, SPSS, EndNote, and Keynote.

Date: 25-27 October 2016

Audience: The workshop is a great educational source to all physicians, medical students, allied healthcare workers, nurses, pharmacists, etc.

Certificates:

At the end of the program, attendees will be receiving three official certificates as described below:  

1. Saudi Commission for Health Specialities (22 CME credit hours).
2. National Institutes of Health (NIH).
3. King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Academic and Training Affairs

Speakers: Local and international speakers from Elsevier,  a publisher of scientific and medical information in print journals and books, will present education sessions and hands-on-training programs.
