Welcome to the Department of Surgery, General Surgery Residency Training Program! Our General Surgery program aims to provide high quality training for prospective trainees from all over the Kingdom. By providing a balanced environment of bedside teaching and hands-on training, residents become familiar in the assessment and management of surgical patients. The General Surgery program emphasizes the values of teamwork, commitment and patient-centered care.

Residents are expected to rotate amongst five subspecialty services: General & Oncology Surgery, Colon & Rectal Surgery, Breast & Endocrine Surgery, Surgical Oncology and Hepatobiliary Surgery.
