The Breast Imaging and Interventions Department aims to provide high-quality breast imaging and intervention services that would achieve the best world-class standards and help in early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer in Madinah region.
Scope of Service
• Mammography
• Breast Ultrasound
• Breast Ultrasound Elastography
• Breast MRI
• US guided breast interventions: Core Biopsy, Marker Placement, Lesion Wire Localization, Lesion MagSeed Localization, Vacuum-Assisted Breast Biopsy,
• Mammotome breast interventions: Vacuum-Assisted Breast Biopsy,
• MRI breast interventions: Vacuum-Assisted Breast Biopsy
• Interdisciplinary Meetings:
• In order to ensure the outcomes and to enhance the collaboration with other integrated medical services, a group of interdisciplinary meetings are conducted.
