Musculoskeletal Surgical Oncology

The Musculoskeletal Surgical Oncology fellowship program is a one-year / two-year program in a major referral hospital for malignant tumors for the Kingdom. Malignant musculoskeletal tumors in adults are first seen at the Combined Sarcoma Clinic in conjunction with Oncology and Radiation Therapy.  Consultants are jointly running the service. Fellows are expected to have hands-on responsibility for patient care.  They will perform daily rounds with their consultant and attend or supervise their clinics.

Fellows are involved in teaching the residents and are the second “hand” in OR coverage. They are expected to actively participate in departmental activities such as grand rounds, M&M rounds, journal clubs, sarcoma and radiology rounds.
