Wayfinding initiative:

As part of enhancing patients’ experience in KFSHRC, an initiative by some departments was proposed to create a simple and creative way for patients and their families to reach the different sections of the department. how a simple yet very useful way helped them to provide a better experience for KFSHRC clients.

Some departments have three or more sub-divisions, and many patients get lost between these sections, especially new patients and many of these patients might have appointments in more than one section.  With the assistance of the experience office, colored labeled arrows were installed on the floor of the Physical Rehabilitation Department, Pediatric Department, and Radiology Department.

This project reduces the stress of our patients in finding their appointment location, minimizes staff interruptions, and clears congested hallways.
