235 male and female students trained during the previous years

The Future Scientists Training Programme at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre has concluded, with the completion of training for 18 male and female students. The three-week programme was conducted at various labs of the Research Centre.

Dr. Khalid Abu-Khabar, Deputy Executive Director of the Research Centre at King Faisal Specialist Hospital honoured the students and called upon them to utilise the experience they gained to develop their skills and their scientific future potential.

Mr. AbdulRahman Al-Laho, Director of the Future Scientists Training Programme, said, in its 15th edition, the programme included 13 male and five female students, Scientific Stream high school students that have excellent performance. He said the programme had contributed in training an accumulation of 235 male and female students during the past years, preparing a generation of biomedical research scientists. He added that the Research Centre follows up on its students, after completion of the programme.

The Honouring ceremony was attended by student parents who expressed their sincere happiness over the high standard of training that their sons and daughters were apart of.
