IA Mission:

1- Facilitate the establishment and development of collaboration between King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH&RC) with National /International institutions.

2- Anticipate the trends and opportunities for effective National/International collaborations to achieve KFSH&RC mission, goals, and objectives.

IA Goals:

1- To foster collaborations between KFSH&RC and top-level research teams across the world aiming at boosting the institute’s scientific potential.

2- To promote National/ International Collaboration to establish strategic relationships and affiliation with organizations and institutions globally, in order to provide high-demand international expertise.

3- Facilitate the establishment and development of collaboration between KFSH&RC, and National/International institutions focusing on the following:

• Benchmark Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Knowledge/Technology Transfer.
• Exchange Staff in different categories and facilitate sabbatical leaves.
• Training/Education.
• Conduction of research projects.
• Promote innovative initiatives in healthcare.

Achievements:

International

• Renewal of five-year memorandum of Understanding between Methodist International and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre effective January 2023.
• Three years collaboration agreements with Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHMI) in quality and patient safety effective May 2022.

National

• Three years Memorandum of Understanding with Taibah Valley in Education and Training Services effective February 2023.
• Two years Memorandum of Understanding with Imam Mohammad bin Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) in research projects and programs effective December 2021.
