Dr. Pratheeshkumar Poyil is an Associate Scientist specializing in translational cancer research, with a focus on bridging fundamental cancer biology and clinical applications to advance diagnostics, prognostics, and targeted therapies. His research centers on molecular oncology, oncogenic signaling pathways, epigenetic regulation, and tumor microenvironment interactions to better understand cancer progression and therapy resistance.

Dr. Pratheeshkumar Poyil is an Associate Scientist and Team Leader at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC), Riyadh, with over 15 years of experience in translational cancer research, molecular oncology, and preclinical therapeutics.

He joined KFSHRC in 2016 as an Associate Scientist in Human Cancer Genomic Research, where his work focuses on biomarker discovery, oncogenic signaling pathways, and mechanisms of cancer therapy resistance across multiple tumor types.

Dr. Poyil completed his postdoctoral training in toxicology and cancer biology at the University of Kentucky, USA, following his PhD in Immunology from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. His career has been dedicated to bridging fundamental cancer biology with translational and clinically relevant applications.
