The Patient Safety and Clinical Risk Management Section reports to the Chief Quality Officer. We lead patient safety and clinical risk management across KFSH&RC, working with Quality teams in departments and Centres of Excellence. We promote a proactive, just approach to identifying and reducing risk to patients, staff, and visitors.
Operational Efficiency Management focuses on optimising hospital resources to support high-quality, cost-effective healthcare. We aim for financial sustainability through cost containment, revenue growth, and improved patient flow. Working with clinical, financial, and administrative teams, we enable strategic decision-making while maintaining excellence in patient care.
The Performance Improvement (PI) section leads projects to improve the safety, effectiveness, and reliability of care. We identify performance gaps, analyse root causes, and implement sustainable solutions. Using the I.A.C.T. methodology, PI projects align with strategic goals and accreditation requirements.
The Patient Experience Office fosters a person-centred culture where every patient and family receives compassionate, respectful care. We oversee Patient Relations, Social Services, and Patient Experience functions across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Madinah. We enhance patient engagement and satisfaction through data-driven insights and cross-departmental collaboration.
The Accreditation Department leads national and international accreditation efforts to ensure readiness, compliance, and performance excellence. Integrated with the hospital's Quality Framework, we use ongoing monitoring and evidence-based strategies to support clinical and operational teams.
Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology (ICHE) focuses on preventing healthcare-associated infections through evidence-based practices, surveillance, and outbreak management. Our data-driven approach aligns with accreditation requirements and enhances patient safety.
The Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACE) leads enterprise intelligence for executive decision-making within Quality and Performance Excellence (QPE). We govern strategic Quality KPIs and design advanced analytics and AI solutions that drive system transformation.
