Project Summary

The Global Liver Registry™ is an initiative by The Global NASH Council™ to collect clinical, laboratory, and patient-reported outcomes data from individuals diagnosed with various liver conditions, including metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), viral hepatitis, and primary biliary cholangitis. This registry seeks to gather de-identified, real-world clinical data from diverse regions around the world. Its primary objective is to understand the global similarities and differences among these liver diseases, enabling comparisons and benchmarks across countries to enhance medical knowledge and improve strategies for diagnosis, management, and treatment. Our research group actively contributes to this international registry by collecting and submitting anonymized data from Saudi patients. This input strengthens global benchmarking studies and helps inform consensus guidelines on liver disease management and control.
