Clinical Applications of mRNA Research

Our research projects establish the potential of the mRNA instability process towards clinical applications in the following domains:

• Precision Oncology and Targeted Therapy: The post-transcriptional technology platform utilizes the mRNA decay process as a response marker for targeted therapy, allowing a precision medicine approach that can be utilized in selecting appropriate therapy for the right tumor subtype, as well as for the right patient and time point.

• Drug Discovery: The post-transcriptional technology platform can be used to find drugs that can normalize aberrant processes in cancer. We have been able to confirm such an approach using a kinase inhibitor library and have been able to show normalization both in vitro and in vivo.
