Professor Abdelmoneim Sulieman is a Senior Scientist and a Consultant Medical Physicist specializing in radiation protection, medical  imaging physics, and medical imaging optimization. He is experienced in radiation dose assessment, patient and occupational dosimetry, and the development of diagnostic reference levels (DRLs). Currently, he is focused on improving radiation safety practices, optimizing imaging protocols, and supporting clinical research and international collaborations in medical physics.

Career Background

Professor Abdelmoneim Sulieman earned his PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Thessaly, Greece. With more than two decades of academic experience, he has served as Professor at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. He is a Senior Associate at the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Italy, and an expert with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

His expertise includes curriculum development, higher education management, research supervision, and institutional excellence and ranking. Professor Sulieman has significant experience in medical imaging physics, radiation protection, and clinical dosimetry. He has supervised numerous postgraduate students and has actively contributed to international research projects and academic collaborations in the field of medical physics. Through his teaching, research, and professional engagement with international organizations, he continues to support the advancement of medical physics education, radiation safety, and the development of scientific capacity in healthcare and academia.
