Dr. Arwa Alghuneim is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre. Her research focuses on developing chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies for solid tumors, including breast cancer.

Dr. Arwa Alghuneim holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Bioscience from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from Alfaisal University in Riyadh. Her previous graduate and post-graduate research focused on cancer biology and glycobiology, resulting in several peer-reviewed publications and presentations at international scientific conferences. She has been recognized as one of Forbes Middle East’s 30 Under 30 in Science and Technology.
