Gamal Mohamed

Dr. Gamal is a Senior Scientist with more than 35 years of experience in biomedical research, clinical trials, epidemiology, and statistical consulting. He earned his PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Medical Statistics from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

His work focuses on study design, advanced statistical analysis, clinical research methodology, and evidence-based healthcare. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with multidisciplinary research teams, supervised postgraduate students, taught internationally, and contributed to numerous high-impact publications supporting improvements in patient care and healthcare research.

Dr. Gamal Mohamed received his PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge after completing an MSc in Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. His professional career spans academia, healthcare, and international public health. He has held scientific and academic positions at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, the University of Cambridge, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Old Dominion University, and the Tropical Medicine Research Institute in Sudan. He has led biostatistical support for numerous clinical trials and multidisciplinary research projects, supervised postgraduate students, developed epidemiology and biostatistics curricula, and provided statistical consultation for healthcare organizations across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and North America.
