Dr. Yezli now leads research in clinical epidemiology, with a strong focus on infectious diseases, particularly in vulnerable patient populations. His work integrates predictive modelling, advanced data analytics and molecular insights to improve diagnostics, treatment and patient outcomes.

Career Background
Dr. Saber Yezli obtained his BSc (Hons) in Genetics (First Class) in 2003 and a PhD in Molecular Biology in 2008 from Cardiff University, UK. He further advanced his clinical research expertise through the Clinical Scholars Research Training Program at Harvard Medical School, USA, completed in 2017.
Since 2009, Dr. Yezli has held several research positions within the healthcare industry in the UK, before taking on a leading role in the Saudi Ministry of Health as the Director of Research at the Global Centre for Mass Gatherings Medicine, a WHO Collaborating Centre. He has also held an appointment as Adjunct Research Scientist at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
Dr. Yezli is an author/co-author of over 150 peer-reviewed publications and numerous book chapters, abstracts and invited oral presentations.
